How to Play This Slot
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to play the Diamond Queen slot machine. The control panel is simple and, as such, is easy to navigate. In the left lower corner, you have the active lines` controller. Next to it, you will find the line betting controller. You can bet one coin per line, or you can opt for the maximum per line bet of ten coins. The coin denomination ranges from $0.10 to $1, thus your minimum stake with one coin per line is $2, while the maximum with ten coins per line is $200.
The spin button is in the middle of the control panel of Diamond Queen slots. Next to it, you will find two tables. One displays your wins, while the second one shows your balance. The final button on the control panel is the auto-spin one. If you are willing to take the risk and give your chances in the hands of fate, press it. Here, all you need to do is watch the reels spinning on their own, anticipating whether you’re going to win or lose.
Symbols and Soundtrack
Diamond Queen doesn’t have any particular soundtrack. There’s no background music all the time. Only the spins are accompanied by a simple melody that brings old Disney cartoons about magic to the memory. There are some musical reactions to winning combinations as well. Gamblers who get irritated by the background music will definitely appreciate this slot. Moreover, if you find the melody playing during the spins to be annoying, you can opt for the silent mode.
The symbols of the game are mostly faithful to the theme, with the exception of the traditional set of card icons. Some games try to make them according to the theme, but in the case of the Diamond Queen, it’s that classy J, Q, K, and A. And cards are the lowest-paying characters. Other symbols include the Crown, the Scepter, the Boy, the Sorcerer, and the Diamond Queen logo. The combinations of the matching icons bring the following payouts:
- Jack – landing 3-5 of them brings between 5 and 100 in-game coins.
- Queen – 3-5 of them bring between 5 and 100 coins.
- King – 3-5 of them bring between 5 and 100 coins.
- Ace – 3-5 of them bring between 5 and 125 coins.
- Crown – 3-5 of them bring between 15 and 175 coins.
- Sceptre – 3-5 of them bring between 15 and 200 coins.
- Boy – 3-5 of them bring between 25 and 250 coins.
- Sorcerer – 3-5 of them bring between 30 and 300 coins.
- Logo – 2-5 of them bring between 5 and 1000 coins.
There are two special icons in the game. The Diamond Queen herself is the Wild symbol. She can substitute all other characters, helping you complete the winning combinations. The only symbol that the Diamond Queen cannot replace is the Mystic Diamond, which acts as a Scatter icon in this slot. Both of these icons are responsible for the special features. You can learn more about the bonus features in the following section of the review.
Bonus Options
Aside from replacing other symbols in the winning combinations, landing two Wilds on the layout will double your win. While landing three of them will unlock the Diamond Queen free spins. Thus, you can get more winning combinations and increase your payouts. But still, the Wilds offer you only small wins. If you are looking for actually satisfying payouts, you should opt for the Scatters.
The Mystic Diamond appears on the second, third, and fourth reels only. Landing three of them will trigger three extra spins, and each win during those spins will get doubled. While you may be disappointed at first by the humble amounts of spins in this feature, you must learn that during the second spin the second reel becomes completely wild. During the third spin, the middle reel joins it. Thus, you will get more winning combinations with a doubled payout.
